About this role

With us you do not just work with figures: you actively improve processes, build smart reports and make a visible difference within the team.

What will you be doing?

As a Finance Administrator you are responsible for carefully maintaining our financial administration, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. You make sure that all transactions are processed correctly and on time.

You also prepare and process bank entries and cash transactions. In addition, you process data from our till and reservation systems and carry out weekly checks to safeguard accuracy. You work closely with colleagues from the administration, front office, hospitality and management departments.

You support the preparation of reports and analyses, so that management has a clear insight into the financial situation. In doing so, you identify discrepancies or bottlenecks and report these to your manager so that any problems can be resolved quickly.

Who are you?

You are accurate, well organised and have an eye for detail. Financial administration and figures are no problem for you and you like to check and improve processes. You work independently, but you also liaise easily with colleagues and your manager when this is needed. You are also proactive and quickly spot discrepancies or bottlenecks.

Our organisational competencies – innovative, flexibility, hospitality, attention and collaboration – come naturally to you. You apply them daily in your work and know how to convey them within the team as well.

What do we offer?

  • A job in which you are given plenty of responsibility and contribute every day to the smooth running of our financial processes;

  • Hours are negotiable, from 24 hours per week up to full-time;

  • A good salary in line with the CAO Zwembaden scale 6 – a salary between €2,903.93 and €3,655.84 gross per month for a full-time appointment, depending on your experience;

  • Good secondary employment benefits in line with the CAO Zwembaden;

  • Working in a renewed and modern sports complex that reopens its doors from the end of August 2026;

  • Flexible working hours;

  • Discounted swimming at Merwestein and the opportunity to train at a discount with our neighbours DeMIX Fitness & Leefstijl;

  • Team outings, a fantastic season and year-end celebration and a friendly working atmosphere.

What do we ask?

  • A completed mbo level 4 qualification (Dutch senior secondary vocational education) in a financial field, such as administration, business administration or Finance;

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a financial-administrative role;

  • Good knowledge of Excel; experience with Exact Online is an advantage;

  • Accurate, analytical and strong with figures;

  • A good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written;

  • Honest and reliable in handling confidential company and financial data.
